SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
High on the priority scale for Coneybeare Stories is social giving. The tagline for our corporate giving is "Women and Children First". We specifically seek out Women and Children's causes and make them the recipient of our donations.
During each production the cast and crew raise funds for a targeted local charity. During the filming of Monster Warriors I, several fundraising events took place in order to purchase a new Infant Heart Monitor for the local hospital in Barrie Ontario. Coneybeare Stories topped up the fund and presented the hospital with a cheque a mere few months after wrap.
Cast and crew of Monster Warriors II chose to direct the funds raised to the children in the area. In the direct line of sight were children who have been removed from their homes and are in need of loving and capable families. We worked directly with the Children's Aid Society and provided 200 children with the daily essentials needed during their transition.
During the production of Gooby, the SickKids Foundation was the chosen charity. Funds raised were donated in addition to the purchase of toys, games, and other items.
On a purely corporate level Coneybeare Stories funds annual initiatives for disadvantaged children around the world. We work directly with "The People's Bridge Foundation" to supply families with the essentials to feed their villages, build wells and schools for the children.
